Word of Mouth Marketing and Viral Marketing

Here is a blog post for viral marketers.  Damn I wish I thought of that!

A while back when Andy Sernovitz was head of WOMMA he and I did an interview to talk about word of mouth marketing.  He just sent me an e-mail today about viral marketing and it has a few tips that might be helpful for those of us who want to leverage the power of word of mouth and Internet viral marketing.

Andy talks about his new book Word of Mouth Marketing: How Smart Companies Get People Talking.

Andy gets the endorsement of Seth Godin and Guy Kawasaki have written forwards and afterwards in his new book. Rules for revolutionaries contributed.

Andy’s word of mouth definition: “Giving people a reason to talk about your stuff, making it easier for the conversation to take place.”
